Crisps, snacks....and shampoos!
It looks like these packets still retain their original contents, although you probably wouldn't want to eat them now. I remember almost all of these from the 1970s and 80s, including Horror Bags, Outer Spacers and Chipmunk crisps. I also remember Outer Spacers costing a princely five "New Pence". The pickled onion-flavoured spacestations (starships were chutney-flavoured and rockets were hamburger-flavoured, as I recall) at the bottom right of the picture were banned from my infants' school in around 1977-79, as I remember the Head Teacher saying that "they make the children's breath smell". Strange logic, those teachers had. Some of them had breath that wasn't exactly minty fresh, either. Especially after downing several cups of extra-strong coffee in the staff room!
